Suban Kumar Chowdhury is an Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He has also been Executive Director (Honorary) at the Equity Nexus Research Center-ENRC [https://equitynexuscenter.com] since January 2024. In addition to this position, Suban is the Chief Editor of "Heteroglossia," a Quarterly digest curated by ENRC, he serves as a key orchestrator in the widespread dissemination of profound insights and knowledge within the academic community.


He completed his Master of Science in Gender and Development Studies from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, in 2021, under the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP). Suban also holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, both from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. Suban's research interests include gender, education, maternal health, and borders, focusing on using a feminist lens to explore these issues. He has published several articles in various international journals, including "Gender, Place & Culture," "International Sociology," and "BMC Pregnancy Childbirth."
