I have been working as a Lecturer in the Department of Anthropology at Rajshahi University in Bangladesh since 2020. I have completed my M.Phil, MSS and BSS degrees in anthropology from the University of Dhaka.  Before beginning my current career as a lecturer, I have worked as a government employee under the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, the People's Republic of Bangladesh. I have also worked for BARCIK, a renowned research organization, as a researcher for five years.  My research interest is centered on social history, kinship, gender, land and development.
